Furthermore, we have established procedures that ensure the exercise of data subjects' rights, deletion of data, and response to data threats. Additionally, we already consider the protection of personal data during the development or selection of hardware, software as well as processes, according to the principle of data protection by design and privacy-friendly default settings (Art. 25 GDPR).

Cooperation with Processors and Third Parties

If we disclose data to other people and companies (processors or third parties) as part of our processing, transfer it to them, or otherwise grant them access to the data, this will only be done on the basis of a legal permission (e.g., if the transfer of the data to third parties, such as to payment service providers, is necessary for contract fulfilment according to Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), you have given your consent, a legal obligation provides for this or based on our legitimate interests (e.g., when using agents, web hosts, etc.). Rights of Data Subjects

You have the right to request confirmation as to whether data relating to you are being processed and to obtain information about these data as well as further information and a copy of the data in accordance with Art. 15 GDPR.

According to Art. 16 GDPR, you have the right to request the rectification of inaccurate data relating to you or the completion of incomplete data.

According to Art. 17 GDPR, you have the right to request the immediate erasure of data relating to you, or alternatively, according to Art. 18 GDPR, to request restriction of the processing of the data.

You have the right to receive the data concerning you, which you have provided to us, in accordance with Art. 20 GDPR and to request their transmission to other controllers.

According to Art. 77 GDPR, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw any consent given in accordance with Art. 7(3) GDPR with effect for the future.

Right to Object

You can object to the future processing of data relating to you at any time in accordance with Art. 21 GDPR. The objection can be made in particular against processing for the purpose of direct advertising.

Collection of Access Data and Log Files

We, or our hosting provider, collect data on the basis of our legitimate interests within the meaning of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR about every access to the server on which this service is located (so-called server log files). The access data include the name of the accessed website, file, date and time of access, amount of data transferred, message about successful access, browser type and version, the user's operating system, referrer URL (the previously visited page), IP address, and the requesting provider. Log file information is stored for a maximum of 7 days for security reasons (e.g., to investigate misuse or fraud) and then deleted. Data, the further retention of which is required for evidentiary purposes, are exempt from deletion until the respective incident has been finally clarified.

Content Delivery Network by Cloudflare

We use a so-called "Content Delivery Network" (CDN), offered by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Cloudflare is certified under the Privacy Shield Agreement and thereby offers a guarantee to comply with European data protection law (https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt0000000GnZKAA0&status=Active). A CDN is a service that helps deliver content from our online offer, especially large media files such as graphics or scripts, more quickly with the help of regionally distributed and internet-connected servers. The processing of users' data is carried out solely for the aforementioned purposes and for maintaining the security and functionality of the CDN. The use is based on our legitimate interests, i.e., interest in a secure and efficient provision, analysis, and optimization of our online offer according to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Cookies and Right to Object to Direct Advertising

"Cookies" are small files that are stored on users' computers. Different information can be stored within the cookies. A cookie primarily serves to store information about a user (or the device on which the cookie is stored) during or after their visit within an online offer. Temporary cookies, or "session cookies" or "transient cookies," are cookies that are deleted after a user leaves an online offer and closes their browser. Google Analytics:

We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service of Google LLC ("Google"), based on our legitimate interests (i.e., interest in the analysis, optimization, and economic operation of our online offer in the sense of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Google uses cookies. The information generated by the cookie about the use of the online offer by the users is generally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

Google is certified under the Privacy Shield Agreement and thus provides a guarantee to comply with European data protection law (https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active).

The IP address transmitted by the user's browser will not be merged with other data from Google. Google Universal Analytics

We use Google Analytics in the form of "Universal Analytics." "Universal Analytics" refers to a method of Google Analytics in which user analysis is based on a pseudonymous user ID and thus a pseudonymous profile of the user with information from the use of different devices is created (so-called "cross-device tracking").

Audience Building with Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to display the ads placed within Google's advertising services and its partners only to those users who have also shown an interest in our online offer or who exhibit certain characteristics (e.g., interests in certain topics or products, determined based on the websites visited) that we transmit to Google (so-called "remarketing audiences" or "Google Analytics audiences"). We use the online marketing method Google "AdWords" to place ads in the Google advertising network (e.g., in search results, in videos, on websites, etc.), so that they are displayed to users who have a presumed interest in the ads. This allows us to display ads for and within our online offer more precisely to present users only with ads that potentially correspond to their interests. If a user is shown ads for products in which they have shown interest on other online offers, this is referred to as "remarketing." For these purposes, when our website and other websites where the Google advertising network is active are accessed, a code is executed directly by Google and so-called (re)marketing tags (invisible graphics or code, also referred to as "web beacons") are incorporated into the website. With their help, an individual cookie, i.e., a small file, is stored on the user's device (similar technologies can also be used instead of cookies). In this file, it is noted which websites the user visited, what content they are interested in, and what offers they clicked on, as well as technical information on the browser and operating system, referring websites, visit time, and other information on the use of the online offer.

We also receive an individual "conversion cookie." The information collected with the help of the cookie is used by Google to create conversion statistics for us. However, we only receive the anonymous total number of users who clicked on our ad and were redirected to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag. We do not receive any information that personally identifies the users.

The data of the users is processed pseudonymously within the Google advertising network. That is, Google stores and processes, e.g., not the name or email address of the users, but processes the relevant data cookie-related within pseudonymous user profiles. This means that from Google's perspective, the ads are not managed and displayed for a specifically identified person but for the cookie owner, regardless of who this cookie owner is. This does not apply if a user has explicitly allowed Google to process the data without this pseudonymization. The information collected about the users is transmitted to Google and stored on Google's servers in the USA.

Facebook Pixel, Custom Audiences, and Facebook Conversion

When a user calls up a function of this online offer that contains such a plugin, their device establishes a direct connection with Facebook's servers. Registration Function: Registration on This Website

Users can create a user account on our website. The processing of the data entered during registration is based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke any consent you have given at any time. To do so, it is sufficient to send an informal message via email to us. The legality of the data processing that has already taken place remains unaffected by the revocation. If users have terminated their user account, their data will be deleted with regard to the user account, subject to a legal retention obligation. It is the users' responsibility to back up their data before the end of the contract. We are entitled to irrevocably delete all user data stored during the duration of the contract.

Within the scope of using our registration and login functions as well as the use of the user account, we store the IP address and the time of the respective user action. The storage is based on our legitimate interests, as well as those of the users, in protection against misuse and other unauthorized use. As a rule, this data is not passed on to third parties, unless it is necessary for the pursuit of our claims or there is a legal obligation to do so in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR. The IP addresses will be anonymized or deleted after no later than 7 days.
